What Content Guru reads, and what it keeps
Content Guru is a content coach for creators. To coach you it reads what anyone can see on your public profile, and it keeps what you make inside the app. This page says exactly what that is, in plain words. It is also the legal notice, so it is complete.
What we read from your public profile
When you give Content Guru a handle, it reads the public profile behind it: your display name, bio, follower and post counts, your avatar, and your most recent public posts with their captions, formats, public like, comment and view counts, and dates. On Instagram carousels and reels, and on TikTok videos and photo posts, it may also read the slides, the cover and a few frames of the video, and a transcript of what is said.
That is all. Content Guru does not connect to your Instagram or TikTok account, does not ask for your password, and never sees anything private: no reach, impressions, watch time, saves, retention, direct messages or private analytics. If a number is not visible to a stranger looking at your profile, Content Guru does not have it.
Content Guru reads public profiles through a data provider (Apify) that fetches the same public pages a browser would. Content Guru reads a profile when you ask it to, and again when you rescan.
What you create inside Content Guru
Your account: the email address you sign up with, or your Google name and email if you sign in with Google. From Google we ask for your name, email and profile picture only.
Your desk: the audit of your posts, your content pillars, the ideas on your calendar, your drafts, your conversations with the coach, the instructions you write for it, any files you upload under Your Brand, your rituals settings, and the commitments you make. Files you upload are private to your account and are read only by the coach when it writes for you.
Billing: your subscription status and the dates of your trial and billing period. Your card is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers; we keep Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers so we know your membership is active.
Who processes it for us
Supabase hosts the database and the private file storage, in the European Union. Stripe handles payment. Resend sends our email. Google (Gemini) generates the coach's replies, the audit and the ideas from the data above; Google does not use that data to train its models under the terms we operate on. Apify reads public profiles. Vercel hosts the app. Each one processes data only to provide its part of the service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else. We do not run advertising trackers inside the app.
Content Guru emails you about your account and your membership (welcome, your audit is ready, your trial is ending, a payment failed) and, if you leave the rituals on, a Morning Brief each day and a Weekly Review on Mondays. Notifications can be switched off in Profile; billing emails stay, because they concern your money.
How long we keep it, and how to remove it
Everything under your account stays as long as your account exists, so your desk is there when you come back. Public profile data is refreshed on each scan and the previous read is replaced.
You can remove a scanned account from Profile at any time; that deletes its posts and audit. To delete your whole account and everything in it, or to ask for a copy of what we hold, email us at the address below and it is done within 30 days. Cancelling your subscription does not delete your data, so a lapsed member can return.
Cookies
The app uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your theme. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights and where we are
Content Guru is operated by Future Nostalgia Studios Inc, a company registered in the United States. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place with data protection rights, you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your data, and to object to or restrict its processing; write to faye@fnstudios.app and we will act on it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Content Guru is for adults building a creator business. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and by email before it takes effect.
